For guests arriving by car, Unterterzen can be reached easily by motorway via Basel or Zürich and via Austria.
There are various ways to reach the Walensee Resort.
- From Zürich: Motorway A3/A3W for San Bernadino/Chur/Luzern, exit 47 Murg/Unterterzen.
- From Austria: In Switzerland, take the A13 for Chur/Sargans. At exit 11, take the A3 for Zürich, exit 49 Flums. Follow the secondary road for Walenstadt/Unterterzen.
- From Italy: In Switzerland, take the E43/A13 for San Bernadino. At junction Sarganserland, merge left for Zürich/Sargans. Leave the motorway at exit 49 Flums. Follow the secondary road for Walenstadt/Unterterzen.
